Hugh Skinner is an English stage actor. He is a graduate of Eastbourne College and the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art (LAMDA). He played Felix Clare in Tess of the d'Urbervilles (2008) and Lionel Mountstuart in Any Human Heart (2010). He also guest starred on Law & Order: UK and Bonkers, and appeared in Day of the Dead (2008) and the short film A Bloody Muddle (2012). He also starred opposite Alexander Vlahos in an episode of the radio play The Confessions of Dorian Gray: The Heart That Lives Alone (2012). His theatre credits include Pastoral (Soho Theatre); Wild Oats (Bristol Old Vic); 66 Books, Where’s My Seat?, 2 May 1997, and Sudden Loss Of Dignity (Bush Theatre); You Can't Take It with You (Manchester Royal Exchange); 'Tis Pity She’s A Whore (Liverpool Everyman); The Great Game (Tricycle Theatre); Angry Young Man (Trafalgar Studios); The Enchantment (National Theatre); Senora Carrar’s Rifles (Young Vic); and French Without Tears (English Touring Theatre). In March 2013, he was on location in Northern Ireland filming The Wipers Times with Ben Chaplin and Michael Palin. He is also co-starring in a radio play entitled Missing Persons, to be released September 2013.
