Katie Hall played Cosette in the the 25th Anniversary Cast Recording of Les Misérables. She currently plays Fantine in the West End Production of Les Misérables. Her vocal range is first soprano.

About[]

Katie was born in Rutland, she's the daughter of two professional opera singers, John Graham-Hall and Helen Williams. Katie attended Oakham School and trained with the National Youth Music Theatre, until the age of 17, when she auditioned for Andrew Lloyd Webber's 2008 reality programme, I'd Do Anything, one of many girls hoping to play Nancy. She made it to the final 42 in Nancy School, but from there, was eliminated. She was signed almost immediately afterward by Cameron Mackintosh as the understudy for Christine at Her Majesty's Theatre. While understudying, she was also a finalist in Your Country Needs You, Andrew Lloyd Webber’s search for Great Britain's Eurovision entry.

Career[]

Hall sang Cosette's part in the 25th rendition of Les Misérables. This was not her last involvement in the play, as she later played a woman in "Turning" in the 2012 film. As far as other works go, she played Christine in the West End Production of Phantom of the Opera. She currently played Fantine in the UK and Ireland tour of Les Misérables and is reprising the role of Fantine in the West End production.
