Lea Salonga is a Filipino professional singer and actress well known as the first choice for the lead role of Kim in the musical Miss Saigon for which she won the Oliver, Tony, Drama Desk, Outer Critics and Theater World awards. She was one of the first Asians to play the roles of Fantine and Éponine in the musical Les Misérables. She is known for portraying Éponine in the 10th Anniversary Concert in 1995 and Fantine in the 25th Anniversary Concert at the O2 in 2010. Additionally, she also provided the singing voice of two Disney Princesses, the first one being Jasmine in Aladdin (1992) and the second being Fa Mulan in the two Mulan movies. She also played the title role once in Roger's and Hammerstein's Cinderella. Lea Salonga was named a Disney Legend in 2011 for her work with the company. She is currently one of the coaches in the hit show, The Voice of the Philippines and The Voice Kids of the channel ABS-CBN.
