Claire Caldwell (b. May 28, 1978) was an American child actress in the 1980's and early 1990's. She portrayed the character of Young Eponine in the 2nd 1988 US tour of Les Miserables, sharing her role with actress Erika Smith. She was ten years old at the time. She made her stage debut at the age of seven, playing a munchkin in a local production of The Wizard of Oz. Since Les Mis, Claire has drifted away from the world of theatre, her last appearance being in a youth production of the classic play Arsenic and Old Lace at the age of fourteen.

Claire Caldwell was born Claire Louise Caldwell to Steven and Anna-Louise Caldwell on May 28, 1978 in Concord, Massachusetts. Her older brother Robert was born in December 1976.

She would not appear onstage again until the age of ten in Les Miserables, then twice more - once in a local production of the Christmas-themed musical Here's Love and once in a youth production of the play Arsenic and Old Lace.
